Another wonderful write-up for Goodwood Remembered, this time in the Petersfield Herald. The 14 September issue included  a substantial review of the book and author Peter Redman, who has been a Petersfield local since 1956.

Goodwood Remembered is Number 2 in Waterstone’s Chichester Top 5 Hardback Non Fiction list in their latest newsletter.

Particularly impressive since the book is ahead of celebrity cooks such as Nigella Lawson and Rick Stein!

Peter Redman signed copies of Goodwood Remembered at Waterstone’s Bookshop in Petersfield, Hampshire, on the morning of Saturday 22 September.

Peter Redman, author of Goodwood Remembered, was interviewed on Thursday 30 August by Ed McDonough for the Radio Station at the Goodwood Revival meeting. Peter talked about his new book and that he would be signing copies at Chaters bookstore in the Revival on Saturday 1 September.

Ed McDonough is European Editor of Vintage Racecar, a motor racing historian and author, and wrote one of the Forewords to Goodwood Remembered.

If you can’t make it to the Goodwood Revival and want to see what you’re missing, or you are going and want to plan where to view from, Google Maps may be the answer. There is a high quality satellite image of the Goodwood Motor Circuit available. You can zoom in and see the permanent buildings as well as all the corners and layout of the circuit.

Goodwood Remembered is the subject of the back page Feature in the Chichester Observer of 30 August 2007.

The Feature includes a number of cartoons and photos from the book, and mentions the good timing of publication with the Goodwood Revival starting on 31 August.

Good weather is promised for the three days of the Goodwood Revival meeting.
